Your new firm
Your new firm is a well known big 4 accountancy firm based in Manchester City Centre. The office in Manchester is one of their biggest with a real focus on tax across the North. Manchester is there is North hub and over the last 3-4 years have grown at a very good rate. The ream you will be joining looks after their private client business, supporting HNWIs, entrepreneurs and PE funds. Due to growth they are now looking to bring in a Senior Tax Manager.

Your new role
In your new role you will be working as Senior Tax Manager working in the private client team in Manchester. This role is purely advisory / planning with compliance being handled by another tax team. You will be working with a real range of clients but mainly supports HNWIs, entrepreneurs and PE funds. The type of advisory work you will get involved in is very varied, but typically you will be getting involved with capital gains, IPs, Shares schemes, M&A, IHT planning and much more. You will also be involved in team management and helping to grow the Manchester offering.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful you need to come from a strong private client background, having worked on UK PC tax in the past. You need to be CTA/ACA/ATT qualified and have experience working advisory / planning. You will also be getting involved in team management and developing / coaching junior staff.
