My client, a renowned manufacturing company with a global presence, are looking for a UK Corporate Tax Specialist to join their well-established tax function. This is an excellent opportunity to work side by side with the Head of Tax as well as alongside other senior members of the finance team.

This is a hybrid role based in North London paying up to £65,000 + car allowance.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with senior members of the team, including Head of Tax
  • Working alongside reporting team ensuring all pension information provided has been correctly inputted into tax computations
  • Keeping abreast of legislative tax developments and proactively assessing impact on UK direct Tax affairs
  • Ensure accurate and timely filing of all corporate, sales, and other tax returns
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including finance and accounting teams, to provide tax guidance and support on various business initiatives
  • Monitoring and continually optimising key control processes and governance frameworks for the UK and international operation

Requirements:

  • CTA/ACA/ACCA (or equivalent).
  • Previous experience with tax planning and strategy development
  • Excellent background in UK direct tax compliance and reporting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
