Corporate Tax - Assistant Manager, Real Estate/Construction

Up to £65,000 + bonus

London, hybrid working model

A UK Contractor/Developer is recruiting for a Senior Tax Accountant to join their team in London.

Reporting to the Tax Manager, the successful candidate will collaborate with finance team taking responsibility for the corporation tax computations.

Specific responsibilities will include:

• Prep and review compliance / Quarter end process.
• Working alongside reporting team ensuring all pension information provided has been correctly inputted into tax computations.
• Employment taxes including (PSA).
• Populate tax packs, and upload to alpha tax to produce the tax computations return information.
• Keeping abreast of legislative tax developments and proactively assessing impact on UK direct tax affairs.
• Monitoring and continually optimising key control processes and governance frameworks for the UK and international operation.

This makes a great opportunity for the recently qualified tax professional from a Top 10/Top 20 FS corporate tax team looking to take their career in-house at Assistant Manager level.

What we are looking for on a CV:

• ACA/CTA qualification (or nearing completion).
• Strong knowledge of UK corporate and international tax issues.
• Strong background in UK direct tax compliance and reporting.
• Awareness of wider taxes.
• The right to work in the UK is required for this position.
