Senior Supply Chain Demand Planner
An esteemed FMCG organisation known for its global presence are seeking a Senior Supply Chain Demand Planner to join their team in Reading. This 18-month fixed-term contract offers an excellent salary of up to £40,000 plus bonus.
The successful candidate will collaborate with customers to develop accurate forecasts for all products across various markets, facilitating efficient supply chain planning.
Ideal applicants will possess relevant experience in supply chain and demand forecasting, particularly in a fast-paced setting.
Role responsibilities of the Senior Supply Chain Demand Planner include:
- Create statistical forecasts for all products and markets
- Implement efficient processes and tools to enhance forecasting and demand management
- Coordinate the country supply plan to align with customer demand and maintain optimal inventory levels
- Minimise excess and obsolete stock exposure
- Provide valuable insights for budget planning and financial projections
- Address supply issues through effective communication and coordination with country managers
Person Specification of the Senior Supply Chain Demand Planner:
- Experience working in a similar position within a fast-paced environment
- Experience of end-to-end planning cycle (forecasting)
- Sound knowledge of SAP or equivalent and strong Excel skills
- Highly organised with effective communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a progressive and changing environment
Salary
Up to £40k
This position offers x2 days a week working from home
