We are representing a prominent private Engineering Consultancy in the UK, actively searching for a talented individual to join their esteemed team as a Senior Structural Engineer at the Aberdeen Office.

With a robust forward workload, this role offers an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to actively contribute to a diverse range of projects across commercial, retail, residential, and industrial sectors, collaborating with prestigious clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead projects of varying sizes within the office.
  • Collaborate with and guide other members of the design team to develop coordinated design solutions aligned with client objectives.
  • Conduct structural engineering assessments and inspections for both new and existing properties, covering steel, concrete, masonry, and timber.
  • Perform analysis and design using a range of software packages.
  • Ensure the maintenance of quality and consistency in technical outputs, including drawings and reports.
  • Prepare high-quality technical reports, including structural surveys.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering.
  • Chartered status is beneficial, and full support and training will be provided for progression towards chartered status.
  • SER Certifier status is advantageous, with support and training available for progression.
