Are you a Senior Structural Engineer looking for your next career move?

Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Structural Engineer to join a global Consulting Engineering Practice, on a permanent staff basis.

This position is based in London with flexible working hours!

The selected candidate will have the chance to be part of a successful Engineering team whilst being responsible for creating Structural designs and ensuring the successful delivery of projects across their lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and specify elements for major projects
  • Maintain and develop positive client relations
  • Work closely with principal designers
  • Assist in the production of calculations, drawings and reports.
  • Attend meetings with Architects and Contractors.
  • Liaising with clients and members of the design team to ensure progress against the project brief

Key Requirements:

  • A degree in Structural Engineering or a relevant field
  • Extensive structural design experience in the UK
  • Analytical knowledge and understanding of Engineering principles
  • Past experience of undertaking steel and concrete designs
  • Working knowledge of Eurocodes, UK & Irish Building Regulations, Codes of Practice and Technical Standards
  • Ability to develop successful relationships with Architects and Contractors
  • Experience using Structural Engineering design software such as Tekla, TEDDS, ROBOT, AutoCAD and Revit
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Chartered or approaching Chartered Engineer status
