Blueprint Recruitment is working with a multidisciplinary Consultancy, who are looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to join them on a permanent staff basis to operate in the Birmingham office.

The selected Structural Engineer will play a crucial role in the design and analysis of various Structural projects whilst ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete Concept and Feasibility studies for projects
  • Assist and mentor team members to promote development
  • Design and specify all aspects of Structural works
  • Producing design deliverables, including drawings, specifications and site surveys
  • Working in a multi-disciplinary team where you will lead and oversee deliverables
  • Build positive client relationships and help identify business opportunities

Key Requirements:

  • Strong all-round technical design expertise
  • Familiarity with the Birmingham area
  • A degree in Structural Engineering
  • Ability to maintain and develop good relationships with clients
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work as part of a team and independently when necessary
  • Previously led the Structural Engineering delivery of projects
  • Ability to prepare bids and proposals
  • Able to make decisions and act on your own initiative
