Position: Senior Steel Fitter

Location: Nationwide (with travel required)

Responsibilities:

  • Steel Fabrication and Installation: You’ll be responsible for fabricating and installing mild steel structures, ensuring precision and adherence to project specifications.
  • Climber Trained: As a Senior Steel Fitter, you’ll need to be climber trained, comfortable working at heights, and proficient in safety protocols.
  • Small Works: You’ll handle small-scale projects, including modifications, repairs, and upgrades to existing telecoms infrastructure.
  • National Travel: Our projects span the country, so you’ll travel to various sites. Flexibility and adaptability are essential.
  • Overnight Stays: Some projects may require overnight stays. Your accommodation and expenses will be covered.
  • Weekend Work: Occasionally, weekend work is necessary to meet project deadlines.
  • Overtime Rates: We value your dedication. Overtime rates will apply when you go above and beyond.

Requirements:

  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years’ experience in steel fabrication and installation.
  • Certifications: Climber training certification is mandatory.
  • Skills: Proficient in working with mild steel, reading technical drawings, and using relevant tools and equipment.
  • Team Player: Collaborate effectively with colleagues, contractors, and project managers.
  • Adaptability: Thrive in a dynamic environment with changing project requirements.
