Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Staff Nurses to work on inpatient units in London.

Competitive Salary ranging from £42,000 - £46,900 +12% shift enhancement+ excellent Benefits.

As a Senior Staff Nurse working on the haematology/Oncology inpatient unit, you will assess, plan, deliver and evaluate high standards of specialist care,you will play an important role in ensuring your patients are cared for in a safe, compassionate and comfortable environment. This will include meeting physical, psychological and spiritual needs by effectively communicating with the patient, their families and your colleagues.

You will be supported to develop your knowledge and skills in haematology-oncology specialist nursing, which includes being trained to administer the Systemic Anti-Cancer Treatments (SACT), stem cell administration and various new anti-cancer treatments.

Skills & Experience:

  • Registered General Nurse with valid NMC pin
  • Post registration experience within haematology or oncology setting or equivalent.
  • Intravenous chemotherapy administration experience
  • Ward leadership experience
  • Mentoringand Preceptor experience, or willingness to work towards this
  • Motivated and forward thinking individual.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise and manage own workload
  • Evidence of understanding service development and improvement.
