We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Senior Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team at a prestigious location in Henley on Thames. As a Senior Sous Chef, you will play a key role in assisting the Head Chef in managing the kitchen operations and maintaining the highest standards of food quality and presentation in this busy riverside venue.

Job Duties:

  • Assist the Head Chef in planning and directing food preparation.
  • Oversee the kitchen staff and ensure efficient workflow.
  • Help develop new menu items and recipes.
  • Ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Monitor food costs and work towards budgetary goals.
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff.
  • Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to deliver exceptional dining experiences.
  • Step in to lead kitchen operations in the absence of the Head Chef.
  • Uphold the kitchen's standards of excellence in culinary techniques and presentation.
