Senior Software Developer - 100% Renewable Energy Provider

Location - Remote-first UK-based company (occasional office visits)

Salary - £75,000-90,000k + bonus

Brilliant opportunity for a Senior Software Developer at a GreenTech company that provides 100% renewable electricity and gas to homes around the UK.

You will join this scale-up on their journey to become the leading energy supplier in the UK having recently merged with a front-line provider, granting them a generous and secure balance sheet.

To be a great fit for this Senior Software Developer position you will have experience in the following:

  • Software development with Java or Kotlin
  • Cloud experience - AWS / GCP / Azure
  • Leading or mentoring junior developers in your team
  • Modern ways of working with TDD
  • Developing in microservices architecture
  • Use of frameworks such as Spring
  • Messaging with Kafka

Your main role as a Senior Software Developer will be to mentor the junior team members as you embark on a project to optimise and scale their existing website and applications, with the aim of becoming fully self-serving for their customer base.
