We currently have a fantastic opportunity to work for a Children's Service who are looking for a Senior Social Worker within their Independent Fostering Agency, on a permanent basis. You will be working within a knowledgeable and well established Connected Persons Team, and be responsible for completing SGO, kinship and connected persons assessments. You will also be completing non-agency adoption assessments.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Social Work Degree or equivalent.
  • Must have completed your ASYE.
  • SWE Registered.
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years' experience post qualification.
  • Have worked in a similar role within Fostering.
  • Have previous experience working with families and children.
  • Understand SGO/kinship process and experience of undertaking SGO Assessments.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
