Senior Security Engineer

Our client is a sector-leading SaaS software company, headquartered in the UK. Having experienced substantial growth and progressed from start-up to an established state, yet still pre-IPO and profitable, they are now directing their efforts into advancing their internal infosec function.

Required experience for the Senior Security Engineer role:

• A broad background in information security / infosec, with several years of experience as a Security Engineer / Cloud Security Engineer / InfoSec Engineer, within Software as a Service organisations ranging from start-up and scale-up SMEs to large established enterprises.
• Deep knowledge and strong experience with AWS for cloud security.
• Experience dealing with Endpoint alerts.
• Exceptional communication skills & confident approach to work effectively and collaboratively within the infosec team as well as the wider infrastructure team with a solution-focussed style.

In this Senior Security Engineer role, you will be actively supporting the organisation’s mission to improve their position with a voice of your own to contribute towards best practices; being the go-to AWS security 'expert’ internally; supporting the overall security stance; and owning an array of longer-term projects such as secret management and amalgamating compliance.

The package offered to the Senior Security Engineer will consist of a base salary between £85,000 - £100,000 with a hybrid, flexible working set up from one of their 3 UK offices; and benefits including a generous holiday allowance, a well-stocked office kitchen with free meals when in the office, private healthcare, enhanced parenting leave and more.
