A perfect opportunity for an experienced Scientist to join a leading global biopharmaceutical organisation!

Using your experience in antibody/protein purification, you will contribute to organisation-wide support of projects taking new biologics from target validation through pre-clinical evaluation. You will generate and purify high quality proteins that will be used for immunisation, structural studies, assays and compound screening. You will also be responsible for taking an active role in project meetings, presenting your work to team members and wider teams within the company’s R&D function.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • PhD in protein biochemistry or equivalent
  • Extensive laboratory experience of expressing proteins using bacterial, insect or mammalian cells
  • Strong understanding and experience of protein purification techniques e.g. AKTA and the different types of chromatography (SEC, IEX, HILIC)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
