We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Scientist - Organic Chemistry to work for a leading company in the South East.

As a Senior Organic Chemist, you will join a growing team of Scientists to support the company's diagnostic technology platforms.

You will use your synthetic chemistry expertise to further the companies research and product development portfolio focussing on organic synthesis, peptide synthesis and bioconjugates.

In this role you will:

  • Run and manage your own projects in organic chemistry applying your work to peptide and antibody/ protein biochemistry.
  • Design and manage projects including experimental design, writing project reports & documentation and transfer to manufacturing.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments and external partners.

Ideal candidates will be:

Masters or PhD qualified in Chemistry/ Organic Chemistry and have experience/ knowledge in peptide synthesis or bioconjugation and bioanalytical analysis (such as LCMS and MALDI).

Experience in antibody drug conjugates (ADCs) or immunoconjugates is highly desirable along with experience in either oncology, heart or respiratory diseases.
