My market leading Engineering client based in Stirling is recruiting for an Estimator. You will play a key role in the delivery and support of the growth in the business, working closely with the Ops Director and you will be responsible for;

  • To produce accurate quotations from the receipt of tender documentation in line with the required profit margins of the business plan.
  • To ensure all required information is entered onto CRM system and that it is accurate and up to date.
  • To ensure all quotes are followed up and all information is documented.
  • To ensure all customer needs are met and they receive a quality service for prices and technical information.
  • To meet set deadlines in returning prices to our client's customers.
  • To work closely with the Sales leaders in identifying and securing new opportunities.
  • To maintain sufficient knowledge of the company, its products, financial targets and of the marketplace to maximise business opportunities.
  • To strengthen our client's reputation in the market through positive customer experiences.

The Estimator, based in Stirling will possess the following;

- Good maths skills.

- Problem solving skills.

- Experience of estimating.

- Confident personality.

- Time management skills. Used to working to customer deadlines.

- Strong commercial acumen or experience.

- Able to read and interpret customer machining drawings.

- Study on a college course related to Science or Engineering.

- Experience in a sales or production role within the Engineering or Manufacturing industry.

- Full clean driving license.
