My client is looking to recruit a Senior Royalty Auditor to join a rapidly growing audit firm with a fantastic range of world-renowned clients. The vision of the partners is to recruit an individual who has the ability and skills to lead and work independently.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a highly reputable firm within the royalty auditing sector with the highest calibre clients.

Your Main Responsibilities

  • Proven high quality royalty audit experience;
  • Key relationships will include licensee, licensor and with internal fellow auditors and senior management;
  • Expected to lead royalty audits independently, working autonomously on site at Licensees’ offices as well as working remotely, whilst building strong working relationships with licensees and licensors to ensure the effective and efficient completion of audits;
  • Responsibility for the complete audit process from initial review of agreements, audit testing plans through to site visit, audit testing, follow up and report writing through to delivery and presentation of audit report to licensor;
  • Auditor may also be required to assist licensor in settlement negotiations and provide commercial advice to the licensor regarding issues emanating from the audit process;
  • Location of auditor is not important due to the option of remote working. However, availability to travel worldwide to perform on-site audit visits is key.

KEY SKILLSETS

Communication - Excellent oral and written communication skills required to interact with licensees, licensors and fellow team members. Requires the ability to understand the communication required to different stakeholders.

Being tenacious - Capable of forming own ideas and opinions and expressing them in a firm but polite manner. This skill is key when liaising with licensees during the audit process, whilst also being able to present our thoughts and opinions to clients as part of a settlement process as to enable the best outcome for our client.

Eye for detail and quality of work - Attention to detail is key to the role. Being able to analyse large volumes of data whilst having the detail to identify any anomalies.

Teamwork - Ability to work with team members of differing seniority.

Independent working - Ability to be able to perform audits on-site independently and experience of performing on-site audits worldwide without the need for supervision.

Organisation - Good personal organisational skills and self-motivation to ensure client deadlines are met. Ability to manage numerous audits at any one time in a fast paced environment whilst ensuring quality of work is maintained and meet’s clients high standards and expectations

Report writing - Past experience in writing audit reports with strong written skills. Audit reports are key to communicate the outcome of an audit to our clients.

IT Skills - Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are desirable. Experience in working with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint is required.

To be considered for this role, you must be able to perform high level audits BUT ALSO bring in new clients to the business.
