I am currently representing a leading insurance firm in Sweden, looking for a Senior Operational Risk/Risk & Control analyst.

In this senior role, you'll be involved in strengthening their risk and control framework. You'll leverage your in-depth knowledge to identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks across various insurance lines. Working closely with different departments, you'll ensure their operations adhere to the highest regulatory standards and contribute to a culture of risk awareness throughout the organisation.

Here's what a typical day might look like:

  • Collaborate with underwriters, claims adjusters, and other departments to identify and analyse potential risks associated with insurance products and processes.
  • Develop and implement robust risk controls to mitigate identified risks and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Partner with senior management to communicate risk information effectively and ensure strategic decision-making is informed by risk considerations.
  • Stay up-to-date on evolving regulations and industry best practices in risk management within the Swedish insurance sector.
