We are delighted to represent our client in offering an opportunity to join their team as a Conveyancer in their Residential Conveyancing Team. Our client boasts a well-established and thriving practice committed to excellence and professional growth. The successful candidate will be expected to manage the department, taking charge of a varied caseload that includes freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, new builds, remortgages, shared ownership, transfer of equity, and more. With a primary role as a fee earner, this position offers substantial responsibility and the chance to work closely with two assistants, utilizing the LEAP case management system. This role demands someone who can maintain control of files from instruction to completion, ensuring a seamless process handled entirely in-house.

Your Mission

In this vital role, your primary mission will be to oversee the department as a senior fee earner, adept at managing a diverse and substantial caseload. Your day-to-day tasks will include the thorough handling of various property transactions from initial instruction through to completion, supporting the development and execution of internal processes. Collaboration with your team and maintaining high standards of legal service are paramount. Your success in this role will be underpinned by your strong interpersonal skills and your proven experience in fee earning, enabling effective management of cases and client interactions throughout all stages of the conveyancing process.

Key Competencies

  • Experience Required: A minimum of 2 years' experience in conveyancing, with capability in handling complex cases.
  • Post Completion Proficiency: Must have demonstrated experience in post-completion tasks.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication skills are essential for managing client relationships and interacting with team members.
  • Case Management: Proficiency in using LEAP case management software is advantageous.
  • Leadership: Ability to lead and manage a department, guiding team members and overseeing operational excellence.
  • Detail-Oriented: Keen attention to detail and a methodical approach to managing legal documentation and processes.

Offer Details

  • Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
  • Location: Based at the firm's office, with all transactions managed in-house.
