Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Residential Childcare Practitioner for a Children's Home in Walsall. As a Senior Residential Childcare Practitioner, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the children/young people in your care. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young children.

Responsibilities:
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children underpinned by therapeutic parenting principles
- Support young people through their daily routines by accompanying, where necessary, to and from activities, school, learning environments, appointments etc.
- Maintaining a safe and clean home environment
- Maintaining confidentiality at all times
- Participate in supervision, personal development plans and attend mandatory training
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and milestones
- Ensure all reports and documentation are up to date in accordance to company policies and procedures

Experience:
- Working towards or completed Level 4 Diploma in Children's and Young People workforce
- 2 years experience working with Children in a residential setting
- Valid driver's license (if driving is required)
