Job Description: Exciting opportunity for a Senior Associate/Associate Solicitor with 7 years plus experience to join our Residential Property team based in Gloucestershire.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage residential property matters from start to finish.
  • Open files and progress matters.
  • Provide cost estimates to new clients.
  • Conduct business development activities.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and Solicitors.
  • Support and mentor the team as needed.

About the Company: Hughes Paddison is an independent legal practice with over 60 employees, offering diverse legal services to private clients and businesses.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Extensive residential property experience with a varied caseload.
  • Qualified Solicitor/CILEX preferred, with 7+ years PQE.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and case management systems like Proclaim.
  • Commercially aware with understanding of business development.
  • Knowledge of compliance and risk.
  • Experience in coaching and mentoring team members.

  • Self-motivated with a drive for client satisfaction.
  • Collaborative and independent worker.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail.
