Managing Recruitment Consultant - Healthcare & Social Care Sector

Location: Sheffield

Job Type: Full-time, 37.5 hour per week

Salary: £27,000-£30,000 + commission

Precedo Healthcare are looking for an experienced Managing Recruitment Consultant This is not a 360 role as you will have the added benefit of your own recruitment team.

This role would also be suitable for an experienced Senior Consultant looking to take the next step into management.

The Role:

We are seeking an ambitious and driven Managing Recruitment Consultant or Senior Recruitment Consultant for a fast-track to Manager opportunity. You will take over a 'warm’ desk with an existing, active client and candidate base. With a strong emphasis on business development, you will be required to develop strong working relationships with your existing client organisations, and bring onboard new clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Marketing: Identifying potential clients and building relationships with them. Promoting our services to potential clients through various marketing channels. Attending meetings and networking events. Negotiating fees & terms and converting new clients.
  • Staff Matching: Understanding the needs of each client organisation and selecting the most suitable candidates to work for them in temporary assignments. Organising additional training / upskilling for your candidates as required.
  • Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with all clients and candidates. Problem solving and addressing any concerns or issues.
  • Customer Service: Handling incoming emails/calls from clients and candidates. Pro-actively seeking feedback and updates from clients and staff to make sure everything is running smoothly. Providing a trustworthy, reliable, and reactive staffing service.

Applicant Requirements:

  • A proven track-record in business development (all industries considered)
  • Experience of delivering exceptional customer service
  • Excellent written and verbal interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish lasting relationships
  • Positive, ambitious and a results-driven mindset
  • Self-motivated and able to work without constant supervision
  • Existing knowledge of the healthcare and/or social care sectors is desirable but not essential
  • Previous experience of managing/leading people is desirable but not essential
