Senior Quantity Surveyor

Salary negotiable upon experience

Do you have experience within contracting?

Attega Group is currently partnering exclusively with our client in recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the team.

The main purpose of this role is to provide commercial and financial support to all projects within the business units. You will be responsible for presentations on valuations, managing sub-contractor/ supplier payments and final account agreements.

In return, our client is offering a salary that is negotiable upon experience, plus 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays, pension plan after probation, progression, annual pay reviews.

This is a full-time, permanent role The hours of work will be Monday – Thursday 08:00 – 16:30 Friday 08:00 – 15:30.

Reporting to the operations Director your responsibilities will include:

  • Identify and measure changes during contract progress
  • Maximise valuations to include all variations
  • Pre order contract/spec/scope & review of contract terms.
  • Review and authorise sub-contractor and supplier invoices for payment
  • Prepare breakdowns and schedulers of rates as requested for customers
  • Liase with PM/SM on contract progress
  • Manage 3 direct reports


The ideal candidate:

  • Good experience within commercial finance
  • Ideally construction industry knowledge
  • Knowledge of contracting
  • Knowledge of HVAC industry or similar
  • Multi tasker and well organised.
