We are looking for an ambitious Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a professional, dynamic and exciting consultancy firm London. You will be joining an elite team of Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers working within the property construction markets in London.

In this role you will be responsible for all cost and procurement management processes, with a view to successfully lead and manage construction projects within the residential, commercial, arts, culture and education sectors.

Responsibilities of the Senior Quantity Surveyor:

  • Order of cost estimates and option studies.
  • Cost plans.
  • Cost-in-use studies.
  • Tender documentation and managing the tender process. including designing tender marking schemes
  • Evaluation and reporting of tenders.
  • Valuation of completed work and arranging for payments.
  • Preparation and settlement of final accounts.
  • Administration of construction contracts.
  • Preparation of reports to customers.

Requirements of the Senior Quantity Surveyor:

  • Degree qualified in a relevant discipline.
  • Chartered with the RICS or working towards chartership.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a client-facing role.
  • Strong IT skills.
