Cobalt Recruitment are excited to be exclusively retained by an international, high end restaurant brand that spans 7 countries as they continue hyper-growth phase with expansion plans into existing locations and progression into new continents over the next 3 years. Our client has engaged us to source a Quantity Surveyor to oversee the delivery new restaurants and 'dark kitchens' across Europe ensuring successful cost, procurement and contractor management.

Since their inception, this innovative restaurant business has grown to 25 locations across 6 countries and have predicted a growth plan of 25 new restaurants and dark kitchens in the next 3 years. With current plans to expand in London as well as progressing throughout, Italy, Belgium, Germany, Spain, France, Dubai and the United States this business requires additional resource in their development and construction team by hiring a dynamic, knowledgeable, and ambitious Cost Manager/Quantity Surveyor.

The role

As Quantity Surveyor you'll be part of a small and dynamic construction team responsible for refurbishments, new construction projects, management of external partners and project delivery for food and beverage projects from early-stage acquisition, through design, planning, construction, delivery and handover. Project values are typically £3.5million-£5million construction including fit out.

Managing projects across the UK and Europe, you will need to be willing to travel to sites across the regions and have experience in working with contractors in different countries.

Requirements

·You have 5-10 years of experience in a cost management position working across European Markets.

·Proven experience delivering retail and specifically restaurant or food and beverage.

·Worked in a similar client operator environment or have worked within a contractor that delivers retail projects.

·Solid knowledge of cost management post contract, procurement, tender, reporting, value engineering and stakeholder management.

·Management of the feasibility of operations and / or potential projects that will be entrusted to you

·Assist the internal designers (based in London) throughout the projects and particularly at the end of the project

·Development and implementation of standard specifications and procurement processes.

·Weekly reporting of operations: quality, cost and deadlines

Remuneration

·Salary £80,000-£90,000 DOE
