The Senior Purchase Ledger Clerk is responsible for accurately updating and maintaining accurate books on accounts payable. This position will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of the finance department in our client's manufacturing company, based in Bridgend.

Description

The Role:

  • Perform daily financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable
  • Process invoices and payments
  • Process staff expenses
  • Reconcile financial discrepancies
  • Communicating with suppliers and internal teams
  • Generate financial reports
  • Maintain control systems
  • Provide support to the wider finance team as needed
  • Comply with financial policies, regulations, and compliance

Profile

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience in a similar role
  • Strong Finance background with extensive experience of Purchase Ledger / Accounts Payable
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Finance and Accounting qualification, preferred
