Salary: OTE for year 1 circa £90,000+ with 85% commission

About the role of Senior Protection Advisor

Our client is a dynamic and ambitious firm based in Watford, specialising in providing comprehensive mortgage and protection solutions to their clients, ensuring their financial security and peace of mind.
They are seeking a motivated and self-driven Self-Employed Protection Advisor to join the team. offering up to 85% commission on self-generated leads and up to 50% for leads provided by the company. The role also offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to manage your schedule and workload effectively. As the company grows there will be further opportunities to lead the team and develop processes.

Responsibilities for the position of Senior Protection Advisor

• Generate leads through various channels, including networking, referrals, and online platforms.
• Conduct thorough client consultations to assess their protection needs and financial circumstances.
• Provide expert advice on suitable protection products and tailor solutions to meet individual client requirements.
• Guide clients through the application process, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately and efficiently.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to foster trust and long-term partnerships.

Experience required

• Proven experience as a Protection Advisor or similar role in the financial services industry.
• A bank of your own clients to service
• Strong understanding of various protection products and their suitability for different client needs.
• Great work ethic and the ability to be self-motivated
• A track record of generating leads and achieving sales targets.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements governing the provision of financial advice.
