Jigsaw TM has been engaged to recruit a Senior Project Manager - Warehousing & Distribution for a leading ASX listed Billion $ Grocery retailer based in Sydney, Australia. Jigsaw is looking to speak to logistic and warehousing professionals that are considering a move to Australia.

Newly created role reporting through to the Program & Strategy stream. Our client is investing in large scale warehousing & distribution centres and this role will lead key developments from design & construction to operational delivery. The initial project will be based in Sydney and has a cost base of over $900million with completion due at the end of 2027. This role will manager all key streams - Automation, WMS, IT, Construction (dotted line), Operational readiness, OH&S. This particular project will be a first of its kind in Australia by way of construction, layout and technology.

Suit candidates that have a strong project management experience from within the supply chain sector. Project Management from construction to commissioning would be highly desirable. Background must include operational experience in warehousing and distribution on a large scale.

• Supply Chain project delivery experience, within the FMCG / Food, Beverage & Retail Sector
• Project Management experience covering the implementation of complex infrastructure change into an operating business, or establishing and commissioning from new (greenfield)
• Working knowledge of the development and construction of large scale warehousing or distribution facilities as well as those streams feeding into the project including DC Operations, Systems and Infrastructure, Transport Development, DC Design, Safety, Change Management and Transition Planning
• Demonstrated experience in managing multiple teams to achieve the agreed deliverables

This position has an attractive salary package that will include Base, Superannuation and STI (24%). Our client can assist with relocation (negotiable) + sponsorship if required.
