Senior Production Planner

Your new company
A rapidly growing aerospace tier 1 OEM is now looking to bolster their manufacturing team by bringing in a new Production Planner. With a healthy order book and a continued desire to invest in business, they will be able to provide long-term growth within your career.

Your new role
As the Production Planner, you'll be reporting to the Procurement Manager with a dotted reporting line to the Production Manager. You will be expected to work alongside the procurement teams to ensure all materials are readily available on site to meet the manufacturing demands. You will be expected to look at short and medium term plans, spanning from reactive weekly plans to 4-12 week plans. You will be expected to work with the integrated MRP system to support you within your role.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in your application, you must have a proven track record of working within a Production Planner, Production Scheduler or a Master Scheduler position. Ideally, you'll work in an Aerospace, Automotive or a similar machine shop business. Due to the key stakeholder management required for this position, you'll need to have a high degree of communication skills to be successful in this role.

What you'll get in return
As the Production Planner, you'll earn a salary of up to £40,000 which is dependent upon your experience. In addition to this highly competitive salary, you'll join the company bonus scheme and their flexible benefits package.
