We are recruiting for our international Energy client involved in developing low carbon energies sources.  We are seeking a  Senior Process Engineer/Consultant  ; this is a permanent position, salary negotiable, plus car allowance/benefits package.   You will have experience as a Senior/ Principal Engineer or Process Consultant with experience as a Lead Process engineer or Consultant, managing front-end or multi-discipline projects, able to take an active interest in assisting clients and the wider energy industry through the transition to Net Zero.  Working with a team of Process & Facilities engineers, you will be keen to build relationships and be a leader.  This role is hybrid with options of  base either in Aberdeen, London, Glasgow or Edinburgh.

Responsibilities:

  • Driving digital solutions and modifications in achieving a sustainable path to net zero
  • Planning and execution of low-carbon energy development projects
  • Supporting assignments across a range of internal teams within subsea, decommissioning, renewables, environmental and advisory teams.
  • Mentor and coach less experienced engineers, as well as acting as IChemE mentors to the same.

Skills and Experience required for the Principal/Senior Process Engineer:

  • Chartered Engineer, Member of IChemE or equivalent
  • Master’s degree in chemical/Process Engineering or equivalent
  • Relevant Chemical/Process engineering experience in a lead role for small process teams
  • Experience of working in Oil, Gas, CCUS, Hydrogen
  • Experience of Front End and conceptual engineering studies
  • Able to manage multi-discipline engineering teams
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of process design & process safety principals
  • Experienced in proposal & CTR preparation
