With a focus on some of the UK's most intricate projects spanning energy, transport, and water sectors, their seeking a Senior Engineer/Principal Geotechnical Engineer to join our expanding Ground Engineering Team.

Position Overview:

  • Lead a small engineering team with minimal supervision.
  • Foster staff performance and development through guidance and feedback.
  • Manage projects of varying sizes to high standards.
  • Collaborate closely with teams and clients to deliver value-led solutions.
  • Work autonomously, meet deadlines, and handle tender submissions.
  • Ensure technical delivery and compliance with industry standards.
  • Drive geotechnical-led sustainability practices.

Position Requirements:

  • Strong academic background in civil/geotechnical engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience, with Chartered Status.
  • Expertise in tunnelling and underground space on major projects.
  • Track record of commercial success.
  • Proficiency in BIM and other design software.
  • Knowledge of relevant standards and regulations.

Remuneration:

  • Hybrid working (2-3 days in office).
  • Flexible working hours (10 am - 4 pm core).
