Senior Practice Accountant / Manager

Edward Mann are currently supporting an expanding Accountancy Practice based in Didcot, Oxfordshire who are looking to recruit a Senior Accountant / Manager.

This role will oversee a small team, and will develop the assigned portfolio of clients.

Our client is able to offer a hybrid working model of 3 days per week in the office and 2 days from home.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee a small team of accountants

- Manage assigned portfolio of clients appropriately

- Engage with and continue to build on existing client relationships

- Ensure client requirements and needs are met with enough assigned accountants in the team with a clear understanding of the time plan in place etc.

- Support on the continued development of the team and their qualifications, if actively studying

- Regular production and review of management and statutory accounts under IFRS & UK GAAP, VAT / FCA / Tax returns and support on payroll aspects.

Desirables

- Previous experience in an accountancy practice is desirable

- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent), candidates who are not qualified will also be considered

- Experience in producing accounts under UK GAAP (FRS 102) and IFRS standards
