One of our leading, successful and expanding online gaming clients is looking to hire a Senior PPC Executive as a key part of a growing performance marketing team. This team acts as an internal agency to stakeholders around the world to define and deliver against our performance marketing plans. They have a multi-million-pound digital performance budget focused across many countries with plans to enter many new markets over the next few years.

The Role of Senior PPC Executive

As a Senior PPC Executive, you will play a pivotal role in optimising and managing their paid search campaigns across various platforms and countries. Working closely with the Head of PPC, you will contribute to the development and execution of performance marketing strategies to drive growth and maximize ROI. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong analytical mindset and a passion for staying abreast of industry trends.

Key responsibilities for the Senior PPC Executive

  • Assist in the development and execution of paid search strategies across Google Ads, Bing Ads, ASA, and UAC platforms.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand business objectives and translate them into actionable PPC initiatives.
  • Conduct keyword research, ad copywriting, landing page creation and testing and ad extension optimization to improve campaign performance.
  • Monitor and analyse campaign performance metrics, such as CTR, CPC, and conversion rates, to identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Implement A/B tests and other experimentation methodologies to refine targeting and messaging strategies.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes to ensure alignment with overall marketing goals.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, algorithm updates, and new advertising features to recommend innovative strategies.
  • Collaborate with the marketing analytics team to track and measure campaign effectiveness and ROI.
  • Provide regular updates and insights to stakeholders on campaign performance and optimisation efforts.

Skills and Capabilities for the Senior PPC Executive

  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in PPC campaign management, preferably in the gaming or e-commerce industry.
  • Proficiency in Google Ads, Bing Ads, and other PPC platforms (i.e Apple/UAC), with a strong understanding of campaign setup and optimization.
  • Experience with keyword research tools, ad testing methodologies, and bid management strategies.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency in campaign management.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with web analytics platforms such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics.
  • Google Ads certification is desirable.
