Our client is a leading trade association for its sector, sitting at the forefront of some exciting transitional changes within the energy industry.

In the build up to the General Election, this is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a fantastic policy team within their supply chain function. You will be devising strategies that focus on seizing opportunities to develop and scale up a market to grow and support new supply chains for offshore wind projects, thereby supporting the UK's transition to a greener energy system.

They are seeking an experienced policy professional with a background in in establishing resilient supply chains and a solid understanding of trade policy that supports imports and exports. This individual will be working on a plan to ensure that the supply chain operates successfully and within the appropriate policy framework, collaborating with industry and government bodies.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Solid policy understanding, with significant knowledge of national or regional government
  • Experience working within the energy sector, with good working knowledge of the UK energy policy landscape
  • Strong communications skills, and examples of having engaged with a wide range of audience
  • A highly proactive and outgoing attitude

This organisation's office is based in London, and they operate on a hybrid working environment.
