Senior .NET Software Developer

Location: London WC1A 1BS, UK / Hybrid Working

Job Purpose:

To be part of a team designing and developing features on our existing device management platform, which is currently being used to manage iOS, Android and our flagship Paradox products in a number of organisations.

The successful candidate will enjoy working in a team, taking the initiative for new features and taking responsibility in improving the existing system. The role will involve research and design using new technologies, and also working with Docker and micro services.

Principal duties and responsibilities:

  • Get involved with the design process and produce designs for new features
  • Take the lead on implementing new features
  • Write, test and maintain software code as according to design specifications in a quality and timely manner
  • Take on new technology, methodologies and frameworks
  • Troubleshoot and resolve bugs
  • Perform code reviews and write documentation
  • Coach and mentor junior team members
  • Provide breakdown, estimate and progress information
  • Capture and fulfil requirements for Project Manager and Team Lead
  • Support QA to ensure the product is of good quality
  • Assist with customer escalation cases
  • Any other reasonable duties as required by the business

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Degree in computer science or another closely related subject
  • 5+ years Microsoft ASP.NET experience
  • C# ASP.NET core MVC / WebAPI
  • Entity Framework
  • T-SQL
  • RESTful web services and JSON
  • JavaScript
  • HTML/CSS

  • Web security

  • Mobile device management
  • React
