Calisen Metering is a leading provider of metering systems, data capture, data management and field management service, offering innovative solutions to the utility industry and businesses throughout Great Britain.

Our Senior Meter Technicians are responsible for overseeing and managing the technical aspects of meter fixing operatives. This includes conducting technical audits, providing on-demand technical advice, and reporting identified trends to facilitate corrective training. The role will allow you to deliver the high levels of safety and quality that Calisen Metering is renowned for.

-£47,392 basic salary

-30 days holidays, rising to 33 (This includes bank holidays)

-Van and fuel card

We just ask for the following:

-Gas accreditation in metering, and preferably an electrical installation/IET 17th or 18th edition qualification.

-Experience working within the metering industry installing gas & electric smart meters. Previous experience installing 3 phase electric meters would be advantageous.

-Ideally have experience of managing or supervising a field-based technical workforce.

-Detailed knowledge of metering industry standards & smart metering installation and commissioning, as well as Gas Safe Registration/IGEM Codes of Practice, MOCoPA & SMICoP.

-Full manual driving licence with no more than 6 points

-Able to pass a DBS check.
