A well respected and industry recognised global medical communications agency is looking for a Senior Medical Writer to join their editorial team, developing the highest quality scientific content for a broad range of projects.

Senior Medical Writer - Oncology

This fantastic opportunity centred on writing top-tier scientific content across various mediums including manuscripts, abstracts, posters, congress materials and meeting reports within specific timescales.  This is a beautifully varied role where you’ll collaborate on multiple projects and engage in conferences and external meetings as required.  

The ideal candidate will be a Life Sciences graduate with a post-graduate qualification (preferably a PhD, but not essential) with at least 2-3 years of previous medical writing experience within an agency environment.  There’s currently a strong emphasis on Oncology, but the ability to grasp concepts in any therapy area is important. A strong attention to detail in order to maintain scientific accuracy and credibility is essential, along with ensuring alignment to client briefs.  You will have a strong focus on Medical Education and Publications.

You’ll get to work primarily remotely, but the company do have a beautiful office environment in Central London with a close knit, dynamic, welcoming and passionate team.  The company hiring due to ongoing growth - career development and longevity is assured along with personal and professional fulfilment.

The interview process - 1st round interview will be a Microsoft Teams / Zoom meeting with the hiring managers, with the second stage including a writing test/presentation and a final in-person meeting.
