Senior Mechanical Engineer - Leeds area

£60,000 plus excellent benefits and career opportunities

Our client a leading engineering and design consultancy are currently seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join this fast paced business to work with technical and infrastructure projects.

Our client has customers throughout the UK and world wide who helping with addressing asset creation, process improvement and plant optimisation needs.

You will ideally have experience in -

  • Degree-qualified within mechanical engineering.
  • Ideally a Chartered Engineer or working towards this
  • You will ideally have waste or water industry experience as an engineer.
  • You will also help with developing technical knowledge across the UK.

?Responsibilities:

  • Manage design projects.
  • Fee bids for tendering/bidding on projects.
  • Design management/coordination on multiple projects.
  • Liaise with internal and external clients within the UK and worldwide.
  • Take ownership of activities within our clients technical knowledge networks.
  • Supporting and mentoring within a team
  • Contributing to new innovative ideas/making suggestions for innovation.
  • Present your project work at company meetings or at conferences.
  • Working with and developing products.
