Senior Mechanical Engineer

Our client is currently recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer to join their expanding engineering team. This will involve initially working within R&D teams to gain experience of different products, before moving to a 'core' engineering team providing engineering support to key customers.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Producing high quality documentation packs, often to complex customer specific templates
• Design changes based on customer requirements.
• Design changes based on changes to regulatory requirements
• Working with suppliers to manage customer facility requirements
• Producing Change Orders where required and collaborating with the supply chain.
• Implementing 'copy exactly' procedures.
• Design changes for obsolescence
• Producing documentation for field labeling of systems
• Attending customer and supplier project meetings
• Supporting other departmental projects

For this role they are looking for someone who preferably is a Mechanical Engineer ideally with experience in the following areas:

• Fixed installation machines
• Special purpose machinery
• Vacuum systems
• Ancillary equipment such as pumps, heat exchangers and abatement systems.
