Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

My client is a well-established and award-winning multidisciplinary firm whose wide range of services is provided across all sectors. They have the exciting opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team in their offices in Cambridge.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Using CAD and Revit software to design the required systems for projects
  • Work alongside the design team and produce detailed designs and site-specific equipment
  • Oversee installations of building systems and specify maintenance procedures
  • Provide clients cost-effective solutions to minimise environmental impact and ensure designs of building systems meet UK legislation requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Relevant building services degree with a CIBSE accreditation
  • Strong experience in a similar role carrying out projects from inception to completion
  • Experience with software's such as IES and Revit
  • Working towards chartership would be advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills
