My client is a specialist manufacturer of bespoke industrial systems used with construction. They are seeking a new Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their existing team. As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will manage design projects from initial concept to delivery, liaising with clients to gather design specifications and ensuring that products meet the clients needs.

Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Responsibilities;

  • Liaising with clients and gathering design specifications
  • Managing design projects from initial concept to delivery
  • Creating 2D/3D designs using AutoCAD
  • Producing all supporting technical documents
  • Provide technical support to clients and colleagues
  • Ensuring that all design projects meets industry requirements

Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Requirements;

  • Previous experience working in a Mechanical Design Engineer position
  • Experienced in managing design projects from start to completion
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems and the construction industry is essential
  • Experienced using AutoCAD and Revit would be beneficial
  • Excellent communications skills are a must
