The Role

We’re on the hunt for a Senior Marketing Executive to join us at KBA. Reporting into the KBA leadership team and with lead functional responsibility for marketing, you will be building and delivering the marketing programme in support of business growth and long-term success at KBA. They will be responsible for overseeing a junior marketing executive as well.

Day to Day Accountabilities

  • To shape and drive the delivery of overall marketing programme as an individual and in collaboration with the current marketing executive.
  • To provide day-to-day support, expert guidance and long-term development for the marketing executive
  • To deliver marketing programmes that generate new opportunity for KBA.
  • To ensure that all marketing and related activities build a consistent and powerful brand for KBA.

Key Responsibilities

  • To develop the marketing plan and manage the delivery of the annual marketing program, including budget planning and control.
  • To lead the marketing team, take accountability for the success of the function, shape long-term goals, and build personal development plans for the team.
  • To manage and support the marketing executive day-to-day with work priorities & guidance, giving hands-on support and collaboration as needed to ensure full integration and timely delivery of all activities.
  • To shape, manage, and report on marketing performance metrics to the leadership team: managing expectations, driving success, and sharing learning and achievement across the team.
  • To lead the marketing relationship with key partners, agencies and other stakeholders (eg The Openwork Partnership) with the goal of maximising value and opportunity and protecting KBA resources (people, time and budget)
  • To communicate marketing activities clearly to the wider KBA team, ensuring that colleagues are aware of mutual expectations in driving the success of marketing programmes in support of KBA's goals.
  • To build and drive the delivery of the activity plan to all marketing actions with a personal focus on delivering new opportunities for KBA in the form of:
  • A target level of new client leads is consistent with target client typologies. and target number of new, relevant partnership opportunities.
  • Greater awareness of the KBA brand among key audiences and better external understanding of KBA’s value proposition
  • To manage team workload on agreed activities according to planned budget, timing, and quality.
  • To manage the day-to-day external promotion on a range of paid and unpaid media, including social media, targeted PR opportunities, advertising, and external events identified as part of the marketing plan.
  • To actively shape and manage the website as an accurate, effective, and measured part of the new client journey.
  • To work with new partners to manage and communicate the launch of new relationships—internally and externally.

Requirements

  • Experience in building and executing marketing strategies.
  • Experience in collaborating with key stakeholders.
  • Any experience with Hubspot would be great.
  • The ability to build a tone of voice and shape influential communication for our target audience.
  • Experience with leading a small team.
  • Understands key marketing metrics with the ability to optimise.
  • B2C and/ or B2B experience within the Financial Services industry
