THE POSITION & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Following the success of their hospitality shows they are now launching in Munich.

They are now recruiting to find an exceptional enthusiastic and dedicated fluent German speaking Senior Marketing Executive to lead the marketing efforts for the inaugural Independent Hotel Show Munich. Responsibilities include attracting visitors and exhibitors through effective marketing channels such as website content, email, social networks, and PPC, all in German. The ideal candidate will have at least two years marketing experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to support other shows within the portfolio during downtime.? Fluency in Spanish would be a bonus.

The event itself is a highly focused business event dedicated to hotel owners, general managers, and top-tier professionals within the hospitality sector.

Our client’s new launch event in Munich will be the premier platform for suppliers from across the hotel supply chain to engage and inspire a targeted audience of hoteliers from the DACH region.

THE ROLE

• Responsible for implementing a dynamic multi-channel digital (email, social and PPC) and offline marketing strategy across the event to achieve key business targets.

• Updating and designing website pages and digital platforms.

• Track and report regularly on campaign results (print, digital, social, PPC/SEO, contras) identifying successes and areas for improvement. Produce and compile campaign activity reports.

• Working with the whole marketing team to agree social media marketing strategy and identifying new trends.

• Working collaboratively with the Marketing Director and wider marketing team and act as brand champion, ensuring adoption of best practice, cross-promotion and knowledge of the industry over time.

• Communicating and working with external clients including designers, print houses, digital agencies, website & registration providers.

• Writing marketing copy for emails, website, print collateral and partner communications.

• Support the sales team with queries, emails, and lead generation.

• Liaise with the Marketing Director to manage marketing deliverables with all media and event partners.

• Update partnership and marketing trackers.

• Create presentation decks and templates for the commercial, content, and marketing teams.?

COMPETENCIES

• Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).

• A team player that is happy to work collaboratively on projects.

• Great time management and organisational skills.

• Strong marketing experience of working on a multifaceted campaign covering all the elements of the marketing mix.

• A confident communicator in all mediums - written, face-to-face and phone.

• Keen eye for detail and excellent copywriting skills.

• Ability to multitask projects throughout the event cycle.

• Good understanding of digital marketing (SEO, PPC).

• Good experience of using digital platforms to build emails, website pages etc.

• Strong Microsoft Office Skills.

• Creative with a passion for discovering new ways to approach the marketing requirements of the events.

• Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
