We are looking for an Senior Marketing Executive who can join our Marketing department and work at a fast pace, developing comprehensive demand generation strategies aligned with the company's overall marketing objectives

Summary of role

The Senior Marketing Executive (Demand Generation) will work closely with Marketing and Growth leadership to devise and executive effective campaigns to generate interest and demand for Babington’s products and services.  

This is a key role supporting targeted activity to drive growth in tandem with the Regional Sales team; continually analysing and optimising campaigns to ensure maximum effectiveness. 

Brief summary of principle accountabilities

  • Developing comprehensive demand generation strategies aligned with the company's overall marketing objectives and target audience to support revenue growth.
  • Developing engaging and relevant content that resonates with our target audience, including blog posts, articles, case studies, videos, and infographics (in partnership with the creative team).
  • Leveraging the marketing automation platform (HubSpot), customer relationship management (CRM) system, and other tools such as Google Analytics to streamline processes, manage leads, and track performance effectively.
  • Evaluating and monitoring the impact of marketing campaigns to maximise return on investment.
  • Building strong relationships across all stakeholders and working closely with sales, product, and business enablement teams ensure alignment and consistency of messaging and approach.
  • Acting as a custodian of the Babington brand and ensuring clarity and consistency in message and tone of voice.
  • Embodying, enthusing, and exhibiting Babington’s core values and role modelling the behaviours illustrated within the company Purpose, Behavioural Competency Framework and Customer Promise.

Brief person specification

Qualifications (E - Essential; D - Desirable)

  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs grades A-C (including English and Maths) (E)
  • Educated to degree level in Marketing or hold a professional Marketing qualification (D)

Skills and experience

  • Experience in the development and implementation of successful customer marketing campaigns – including planning, execution, and reporting (E)
  • Experience with marketing tools such as: Website CMS, email marketing platforms, AdWords/Google suite (D)
  • Experience in copywriting and sales asset creation (web, brochures, pitch decks etc)  (E)
  • Experience of working with agencies and internal resource across design, digital, and print  (E)
  • Ability to manage and prioritise multiple activities based on their business need, urgency, and importance, delivering effectively under pressure (E)
  • Ability to assimilate complex information from a variety of sources  (E)
