Salary Range: £40,000 - £50,000

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with a strong background in PLC design and Siemens programming. The ideal candidate will be electrically qualified and have extensive experience as a Manufacturing Engineer. This role offers the opportunity to manage projects from end to end, including machine building, within a global organisation at the forefront of cutting-edge innovation.
Day to Day of the Role:
- Design, develop, and oversee the installation of electrical equipment, components, or systems.
- Extensive programming of Siemens PLCs, including designing programs from scratch.
- Operate milling machines and lathes as part of the equipment and machine building process.
- Take full ownership of projects, managing them from conception through to completion.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to share knowledge, experience, and best practices.
- Engage in problem-solving and continuous improvement activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Electrical qualification with 4+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Proficient in PLC design with extensive experience in Siemens programming.
- Ability to manage full lifecycle projects independently desirable.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- A proactive approach to sharing knowledge and a willingness to engage in dialogue with colleagues.
