Meraki Talent are seeking an experienced Senior Manager from an Investment Operations function for a permanent opportunity within the heart of Liverpool.  This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and innovative financial institution dedicated to empowering individuals and businesses to achieve their financial goals. Our client are committed to providing exceptional service and fostering long-term relationships with our clients, therefore as they continue to grow, they are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Account Opening & Client Data Maintenance Specialist to manage the existing team.

The Account Opening & Client Data Maintenance Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of client data while facilitating the smooth onboarding of new accounts. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a dedication to delivering a seamless client experience. Key Duties:
  • Process new account applications in accordance with regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of client documentation to ensure compliance with Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations.
  • Accurately input and maintain client information in the system, including account details, contact information, and transactional data.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as Compliance, Operations, and Relationship Managers, to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to client data.
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries and requests regarding account opening procedures and documentation requirements.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports and audits related to account openings, client data maintenance, and regulatory compliance.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices related to client onboarding and data management.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency and quality in account opening and data maintenance procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in banking, financial services, or a similar industry with exposure to account opening and client data management.
  • Relevant level 3 FCA recognised professional qualification
  • Strong understanding of Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, and experience working with banking systems or CRM software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation review.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive client information with discretion.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
