The Company

We are supporting a major international legal services firm, which has built an enviable reputation for advising on high-profile and ground-breaking global transactions for a portfolio of blue-chip clients. Offering a renowned professional service, technical excellence and commercial awareness, the firm prides itself on a practical and constructive approach to legal issues. This firm is currently seeking a Senior Management Consultant to deliver a variety of high-profile client facing projects.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Management Consultant

  • Driving delivery of client facing projects in most efficient manner; challenging & considering alternative methods of delivery
  • Setting up & maintaining project management tools & processes
  • Providing project management support across all workstreams
  • Assisting with pitches & client presentations
  • Meeting with senior stakeholders to scope matter, create financial agreements, assist with resourcing, engage third parties & consider suitable technologies
  • Assisting with planning, including client requirements, kick off & team briefing meetings & ensuring third parties are engaged as part of the process
  • Managing matter throughout project lifecycle, providing guidance & oversight on scope, financials, planning, resourcing & ensuring a continuous focus on creating efficiencies & value add considerations
  • Providing training to embed a firm-specific approach to client facing project management
  • Assisting with the drive to implement the strategic goals of the team

Skills & Attributes of the Senior Management Consultant

  • You will be an experienced, at Manager or Senior Manager level, within the Big 4 or other international management consultancy
  • Proven experience shaping and managing complex client facing projects
  • Experience of working with legal teams is highly desirable
  • Ideally you will have a recognised Project Management qualification (PRINCE 2, AMP or PMP)
  • A track record of advising, influencing, and supporting key stakeholders
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including networking and working with senior stakeholders to articulate the value of LPM
