Senior Management Accountant

Mitchell Adam is delighted to continue their collaboration with an exciting established organisation in the logistics sector. This organisation has gone through a small period of expansion, and as a result are looking to bring on a Senior Management Accountant into their talented and experienced team. The organisation is based near Birmingham Airport, and is easily accessible via public transport, being a ten minute walk from their local train station, and accessible via car due to their free on-site car park.

As a Senior Management Accountant, your responsibilities will be covering the oversight of a small team of three transactional staff. This will include resolving queries and helping potentially train new staff. Alongside this supervision you will be responsible for payroll and the production of management accounts.

• To have a strong level of experience producing management accounts. As this will be a critical part of the role.
• To have experience in supervising a team before or to be confident in regard to assisting your colleagues.
• To have experience in a variety of accounting responsibilities, such as payroll, completing cash flow forecasting, posting journals and completing reconciliations.
• To have a strong level of communication skills, in this role you will be interacting with a variety of internal and external stakeholders and it is key to be able to communicate effectively.
