Senior Management Accountant | Prestwich/Whitefield | High Growth Retail | £50-60k

Axon Moore have partnered with a fast growing e-commerce retailer who are looking to strengthen their finance team with a Senior Management Accountant.

The business has proven to be a success story, following year on year growth and revenue increasing by 65%. This is a fantastic well-rounded opportunity to join the business during an excited period, providing guaranteed career progression opportunities and ability to add considerable value.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the production of the monthly management accounts including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow, including variance analysis and commentaries
  • Contribute to annual budgeting and planning process
  • Mentorship of 2 part qualified Assistant Management Accountants
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations
  • Work closely with the Financial Controller on the year end statutory accounts, audit and tax queries
  • Review accounting processes and practices to improve the efficiency of the finance function
  • Analyse financial information to assist business profitability and growth
  • Assisting the Financial Controller and CFO on ad-hoc analysis such as business cases for investment decisions
  • Support a strong learning culture within the team, helping to develop all finance colleagues by providing ad-hoc ‘on the job’ training

Person Specification: 
  • Qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA with proven Management Accounts experience
  • Ability to thrive within a fast paced environment
  • Able to demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach 
  • The ability to create effective working relationships quickly
  • Excellent Excel skills to include pivot tables, look-ups and various formulae
