Senior Management Accountant

My client, a rapidly growing Retail Firm is looking for a Senior Management Accountant to join their expanding team. The company has experiencing YOY growth and rapidly becoming a go to brand.

As a Senior Management Accountant, you will be responsible for collecting all debt for a high volume basis reporting directly into the Financial Controller. Other duties will consist of.

• Manage monthly closing process from start to finish taking ownership of all accounting areas (sales, COGS, provisions, balance sheet reconciliations etc).
• Manage the preparation and distribution of internal financial reports, maintaining the highest quality, reliability, and accuracy.
• Reports will include P&L, region, department, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
• Compare results to budget with budget holders and work with the FP&A team to challenge and understand variances.
• Present high-quality financial results, non-financial KPIs and performance vs budget and forecast to the leadership team.
• Management and development of a Finance Associate and responsible for overseeing the AP and AR ledgers.
• Support the Head of Financial Control and Reporting with the external audit process.
• Review monthly and quarterly VAT reports; support on international sales tax reporting.

• Finalist ACA, ACCA or CIMA Accountant.
• Educated to degree level.
• Relevant broader finance experience.
• Intermediate to advanced excel.
